3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Security Tools Disclaimer

Our free security tools (including but not limited to HTTP Header Analyzer, Hash Generator, Encoder/Decoder, Password Strength Checker, CSP Generator, JWT Decoder, SSL Certificate Checker, and DNS Security Analyzer) are provided for educational and legitimate security assessment purposes only. You acknowledge and agree that:

• These tools should only be used on systems you own or have explicit authorization to test
• Tool outputs are informational and should not be the sole basis for security decisions
• We are not responsible for any actions taken based on tool outputs
• Generated reports are for reference purposes and do not constitute a professional security audit
• All analysis is performed client-side where possible; we do not store your analysis data

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SecureCodeReviews and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our content, including blog posts, OWASP guides, code examples, and security research, is provided for educational use. You may share links to our content but may not reproduce substantial portions without attribution and permission.

7. Professional Services

For paid professional services (code reviews, penetration testing, consulting, training), separate engagement agreements will be executed. These Terms serve as the baseline and any service-specific agreements will supplement these Terms. In the event of conflict, the service-specific agreement takes precedence.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SecureCodeReviews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) security analysis results or recommendations provided through our tools or services; (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that security analysis results will be complete or accurate.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SecureCodeReviews and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Service; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your use of security tools on systems without proper authorization; (d) any third-party claims arising from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
